How to Install bitlbee software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

bitlbee software package provides An IRC to other chat networks gateway (default version), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install bitlbee 

bitlbee is installed in your system.

Make ensure the bitlbee package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bitlbee *

You will get with bitlbee package name, version, architecture and description in a table
